On the morning of January 25, the company held its 2025 annual work conference in Changsha. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the conference thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. It resolutely implemented the decisions and arrangements of the provincial Party committee, provincial government, and the provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, as well as the spirit of the group company's annual work conference. The conference summarized the experiences and shortcomings of 2024 and clarified the goals and measures for 2025.

 

 

The meeting was attended by Su Dehui, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Hunan Pharmaceutical Development Group; Ge Jinwen, Party Secretary and President of Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Cai Guangxian, Lifetime Honorary Chairman of the company; Wang Xingwu, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Pharmaceutical Development Group; along with nearly 400 participants including shareholder representatives, board members, supervisors, client representatives, outstanding doctors from the second "Xinglin Figures" award, and company employees.

 

 

Shen Fanshun, the Party Branch Secretary and Chairman of the company, delivered a work report titled "Achieving Large-Scale Production Capacity Release, Strengthening Core Competitiveness, and Charting the Company's New Era Development Blueprint with Forward-Looking Layout". The report comprehensively summarized the company's key economic indicators, product system layout, production and supply assurance, scientific research and innovation, standardized governance, as well as Party building and integrity construction over the past year.

The work report designates 2025 as the company's "Year of Full Production Capacity," emphasizing the continuous integration of Party building and business operations. It reaffirms the Party's comprehensive leadership in corporate development, prioritizes integrity and anti-corruption efforts, and leverages the "soft power" of Party building to drive the company's "hard development." The strategy focuses on four key areas to achieve four transformations, with the goal of "two increases and three decreases" to enhance product supply reliability. Through market guidance, the company aims to gradually establish a cluster of distinctive competitive products, amplifying scale advantages. It also strengthens academic systems to attract customers with high-quality products and services, driving sales growth. Additionally, the company will continuously enhance talent development to ensure the foundation for achieving full production capacity and operational excellence.

On behalf of the company's board of directors and management team, Shen Fanshun extended sincere gratitude and heartfelt blessings to the senior leadership, shareholder units, client representatives, and all employees.

 

Ge Jinwen emphasized that Chun Guang Jiu Hui, a company steeped in cultural heritage, has achieved remarkable results despite the complex economic climate in 2024—a testament to its resilience. Regarding future strategies, he noted that pharmaceutical enterprises now face both opportunities and challenges. The 7th Plenary Session of the 12th Hunan Provincial Party Committee has outlined clear plans for healthcare development. As a pharmaceutical company, it must adapt to demographic changes and evolving health demands while seizing opportunities. The company should adopt a strategic vision, identifying challenges at the macro level and devising solutions at the tactical level. Facing intensified market competition in 2025, it should focus on three pillars: innovation, service, and reputation. In innovation, it must preserve the core values of Super Micro Technology through sustained R&D investment, leveraging modern science to demonstrate its cutting-edge advantages. For service, it should deepen market understanding to better serve clinicians and patients, building a strong brand reputation. In branding, it should enhance promotional efforts to create premium products and distinctive brands, ensuring medical professionals recognize these as trustworthy and transparent solutions that ultimately benefit public health.

 

 

Su Dehui commended Chun Guang Jiu Hui for its sustained progress over the past three years, despite persistent challenges. He particularly highlighted the company's remarkable achievements in innovation, efficiency enhancement, quality improvement, and marketing optimization during the year of economic downturn and complex external conditions. The leadership team's proactive exploration yielded substantial breakthroughs in production capacity expansion through targeted measures, establishing a proven methodology. He endorsed the company's current situation analysis and proposed strategic initiatives for future development.

He pointed out that traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of China's traditional culture and has great market demand, not only among the elderly but also among an increasing number of young people who now prioritize their health. Traditional Chinese medicine is not only effective in treating chronic diseases but also plays a significant role in disease prevention. While recognizing the opportunities, the company must also face competition and challenges. To ensure the success of its work in 2025, he proposed three requirements: First, to leverage the leadership of Party building to empower quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. We must always adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, earnestly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and translate the spirit of the Group's annual work conference into concrete actions based on practical work. The focus of Party building leadership is to promote the integration of Party and business, driving high-quality development through high-quality Party building. Second, to strengthen innovation-driven development and consolidate competitive advantages. Through innovation, we must develop and manufacture competitive products, guide and tap into potential demand. Chun Guang Jiu Hui should seize the momentum, with the entire company unifying its thoughts, pooling wisdom, focusing on key priorities, and tackling the main challenges to achieve the goal of capacity release. Third, to comprehensively deepen reforms and win the final battle. We must elevate our political stance, fulfill our mission, and remember that 2025 is the final year of state-owned enterprise reform. We must establish a clear orientation of "valuing practical work and striving for excellence," strictly implement policies on the adjustment of the bottom tier and the exit of those who are not competent, and continue to intensify efforts in talent recruitment and cultivation, especially in research and production, to achieve salary linkage and fully mobilize employees' enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
