Recently, the Hunan Provincial Medical Security Bureau and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security jointly issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Implementation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Newly Added to the 'Basic Medical Insurance, Work Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance Drug Catalog' in Hunan Province in 2022", clarifying that 551 eligible traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces will be officially added to the scope of medical insurance payment, and will be uniformly implemented throughout the province from October 1st, with a validity period of 3 years
