The meeting first started with the study of the first topic, led by Comrade Shen Fanshun, who reviewed the comprehensive report on the second round of inspections of the 20th Central Committee by the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China. The meeting emphasized the need to effectively shoulder the main responsibility, promote the implementation of inspection and rectification tasks, adhere to monthly scheduling and regular meetings to study specific problems, lead all party members of the branch to unify their thinking, pace, and action, deeply analyze the root causes of problems, implement rectification measures item by item, study and formulate rectification work plans, and issue problem lists, task lists, and responsibility lists to ensure that feedback problems are addressed "with measures in place for each case and someone taking action for every matter".

The meeting also reviewed and approved proposals such as the "Plan for the Second 'Spring Festival Jiuhui' Cup Xinglin Character Selection Activity".
