On April 9th, as one of the first three enterprises in Hunan to obtain the production qualification for traditional Chinese medicine formula granules, our company represented key enterprises in this field in the province to participate in the provincial promotion seminar for traditional Chinese medicine formula granules. The meeting conducted thorough discussions on the requirements outlined in the "Announcement on Terminating the Pilot Work of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Granules" issued by the four national ministries and commissions, including the formulation of standards for traditional Chinese medicine formula granules, production registration, cross-provincial sales registration, and clinical use. It analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the development of the traditional Chinese medicine formula granules industry in our province, conducted in-depth research and assessment of potential risks, and put forward suggestions and opinions for the next steps.

At the meeting, Cai Xinya gave a detailed introduction to the company's research on standards for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula granules, production registration, construction of new production lines for formula granules, and operation of the traceability system for TCM formula granules (TCM ultra-fine herbal slices). He also proposed specific measures to regulate and promote the TCM formula granules industry in our province, as well as to support the production and development of TCM formula granules enterprises.

After fully listening to the suggestions of various medical institutions and related enterprises, Huang Donghong stood at the height of the healthy development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in the province, and emphasized six opinions to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the work related to traditional Chinese medicine formula granules. One is to maintain the seriousness and continuity of policy implementation, and resolutely implement the relevant requirements of the "Announcement on Ending the Pilot Work of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Granules" issued by the four ministries and commissions; Secondly, we will strengthen the professionalism and authority of drug supervision, carry out a special campaign to rectify traditional Chinese medicine formula granules, and focus on cracking down on traditional Chinese medicine formula granules that are still produced according to local standards or have not been registered for sale in our province after November 1, 2021; The third is to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the product, strictly implement the main responsibility for quality and safety, and regulate the production and use of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules in accordance with the law; The fourth is to ensure the fairness of market competition, adhere to legal approval and filing, and establish a unified, open, competitive, and orderly market system for traditional Chinese medicine formula granules in our province; Fifth, strengthen the synergy of departmental cooperation, actively communicate with health, traditional Chinese medicine management, medical insurance and other departments, carry out policy promotion and technical standard training; The sixth is to fully recognize the urgency of improving standards, encourage enterprises to establish production and technology alliances, integrate existing resources, deepen standard research through a combination of research and application, highlight the research and development of standards for authentic medicinal materials and characteristic Chinese medicinal materials, and create provincial Chinese medicine formula granule brand products.

This work seminar is of great significance for fully implementing the strategic deployment of Hunan's strong province of traditional Chinese medicine and the requirements of Hunan's plan to build a national comprehensive reform demonstration zone for traditional Chinese medicine, further strengthening the standardized management of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules in our province, and promoting the development of the formula granule industry.
